Balayage means “to sweep” in French. It is a term that is widely used to define brightness painted 2-3 inches from the root to mimic the sun or hand painted highlights to create a graduated, natural looking effect.

We will need 4 hours for a session at minimum. It could be more or less depending on the length, thickness and starting color of your hair. Since we spend more time together but less often, this is a great option for those wanting to spend less on their hair overall.

A few things to keep in mind.
Please come with clean + dry hair.
No turtlenecks, high collared shirts, no white tops. Wear a top that isn’t your absolute favorite.
Arrive no more than 5 minutes early.

This now makes the second time that I have gone to see Kelsey, and she is about a two hour drive from me one way but she WORTH every minute. Kelsey specializes in brunettes and for the women who like to embrace that natural color, but add some dimension and just PIZZAZ it can be difficult to find a hair specialist. Kelsey does an amazing job at listening to what I like and letting me know if that would work for my hair or not and if not why.
For someone who is low maintenance with a twice a year trip to the salon and not big on doing her hair all the time she has given me some tips and tricks, and helps me ensure I know how to care for the hair I paid a good penny to get done. When you go and see her you not only get a amazing hairstyle, but you walk away with information that will be helpful for you to care for that hair.
The environment is amazing, the hair stylist are amazing, and I have had the privilege to be able to be in the chair with Kelsey and Lany both working on me. If that happens for you I am telling you now you will be well taken care of, they both are outstanding stylist, and just genuine good people.
